Some COVID conscious people are worried about mask bans because protestors are wearing them. That's understandable, but (a) they are wearing them to mitigate COVID spread, and (b) even if COVID didn't exist, they should have the right to wear them to protect against surveillance.

We could attempt to roughly estimate the H5N1 prevalence in the cow population by comparing the Ct of the 40% of + milk samples with the Ct of milk from an infectious cow. If we were really wise, we'd test mixed samples from every farm.

@D_Bone If you can't handle totally stopping milk products, switch to organic. Conventional milk makers are what's driving this. Look for AWA (Animal Welfare Approved) to be assured the cows aren't fed poultry litter. Organic milk is ultra pasteurized.

Yesterday I heard about another pair of paramedics saying that they wanted to keep a patient out of hospital if they could, and the reason they gave was "because the hospital would be the worst place for them".
