My Son Ambrose is 2 now and he’s ALL GAS, no brakes. Always getting into something, and in the season of life where if and when he goes anywhere, he is RUNNING to that next place. He also hasn’t quite correlated paying attention to where he is going with his eyes. At least not all the time. Meaning, he will be looking over at something he’s interested in while walking straight. I just watch as he does this and runs himself into another wall at the house, or tree at the park, or pole at the playground. I can’t help but laugh when it happens. The hard hits, of course, he comes running over to me in tears and I embrace him without judgment of “WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING.” Why? Well, you understand… some of these lessons gotta be learned the hard way, and most of us eventually start paying enough attention to stop running into things. Well, not all of us Pay attention!!! Patterns repeat... when you keep making the same mistake over and over it becomes a CHOICE.

When you have kids, you realize they live in their own little world. When they’re ready to go, they’re ready to go. When they’re hungry, it’s time to eat. If they want something, they want it now. Everything feels urgent because, in their minds, they’re the center of their own world. Then you realize your job as a parent is to teach them patience, empathy, and responsibility. Life doesn’t just hand you what you want. You have to learn how to communicate, negotiate, work for opportunities, and understand that other people matter too. Then you grow up and realize… there are adults who still think the world revolves around them. Who are selfish af & don’t understand theres consequences to thier actions etc... Some people get older but never grow up.

What someone does for a living, how much money they have, their education level, or their status doesn’t determine how they will treat you or the quality of the relationship When people think they have it all together it’s he/ she has (job/career, house or apartment, car) It’s deeper than that. This is where character, morals, personality, values, self-awareness, and ethics need to be evaluated. Are they a team player? Do they consider how their actions affect you? You have to pay attention to whether someone is selfish, ungrateful, a liar, a manipulator, narcissistic, or anything else that could damage a relationship. Just think about how the community spends so much time worrying about things like dates or 50/50. People spend so much time focused on the wrong shit If you couldn’t wipe or wash your ass anymore, would they do it for you? If you lost everything, would they still be there? How do they want to raise children? Do they have addictions or vices? If they could have anyone in the world, would they still choose you? Could they hold it down if you couldn’t anymore? If you’re not in their face will they be in someone else’s? Miss these steps and you might end up marrying or having kids with someone completely wrong for you. Your life will be miserable.
