Not everyone who plays wants to play at the collegiate level. For most, having a great HS career while developing life/people skills, incredible drive & a great work ethic is enough. The kids who use what they learned as part of a team to succeed in life don’t get enough credit!

GREATNESS never needs to be begged, negotiated with, threatened or bribed to do the work. Greatness WANTS to work because that’s what leads to big gains. Gains = a better player on & off the court. If someone has to beg you, you might need to reconsider what it takes to be great!
If you want your team to be calm under pressure, you must be calm under pressure. If you want your team to be consistent, you must be consistent. If you want your team to be accountable, you must be accountable. Live the standard, no excuses. Leaders set the tone.
WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT ... The title of "coach" is a privilege. The relationships and opportunities for positive impact should never be taken lightly. John Wooden used to say, "a good coach can change a game but a great coach can change a life."

Not everyone who plays wants to play at the collegiate level. For most, having a great HS career while developing life/people skills, incredible drive & a great work ethic is enough. The kids who use what they learned as part of a team to succeed in life don’t get enough credit!
