A big reason coaches are unsuccessful teaching a Fast Break is they have practices & workouts that are not conducive to a running game. 1. Conditioning should involve a ball. 2. Drills should be 5-10 minutes max each, high energy. 3. Lots of full court work & teaching needed.

@coachk6463 Yup Yup!! Coach @ksmall24 would attest to the same things you shared. Always have Non-Shooter working on things you mentioned, and having shooter catch & shoot on the move, not standing. Both going hard will get a 4th component out of it too. Conditioning.
Individual and Team Offensive Health suffers from just getting shots up through a bunch of fancy dancy shooting drills. It’s a critical mistake so many coaches make in trying to help players become better shooters. #WhatWins💯

@coachk6463 Oh, I do that. When you arrive, lap around the court dribbling with off hand, form shooting, then FT's 10, then go to shooting your preferred shots. Earlier you get there, more shots you get up. After practice available for more shooting too.
Wild West in this college recruiting. Battle of the biggest bag. But , I can’t be mad at these dudes. All these dudes won’t make it to the league. But they can take care of themselves and their families. I mean that should be the goal anyways , right?
A big reason coaches are unsuccessful teaching a Fast Break is they have practices & workouts that are not conducive to a running game. 1. Conditioning should involve a ball. 2. Drills should be 5-10 minutes max each, high energy. 3. Lots of full court work & teaching needed.
