What you focus on expands. If you focus on problems and complaints, you will live a problem and complaint filled life. But if you focus on solutions and positivity, your life will become one big solution to every problem.
Knowing something does you no good at all if you don't put it into action. Knowing that catch play is important, knowing that every swing matters, knowing that you need to be positive and confident...absolutely worthless on its own. Commit to DOING, not just knowing.
It can't be said enough; the number of swings or throws you make is not nearly as important as the quality of each of them. Slow down and focus on teaching your body the right way to do things.
Don't let the tee or short toss rob you of your load and stride, those are your two most important timing mechanisms. Imagine a pitcher on every swing, and be in the same rhythm as you would be in competition.
Hitters, your are on OFFENSE when you're at the plate. Too many of you are hesitant, late, reactionary. Stop fighting off pitches. Get in there to ATTACK a fastball in the place you want it, and be on time when you get it.
Throw it FASTER is oftentimes a more helpful cue than HARDER. The second one causes some guys to muscle up and get tight, while the first is typically more fluid.

Edgar Martinez, this is HITTING. Training “intent” shouldn’t be muscling up and over rotating. Over rotating/muscling up engages the front side (hips/shoulders). Low effort anchored drills are good for stopping the over rotation. This will give you adjustability through the zone.
Top tip for those who can lift at home during this mess. If you don't have a spotter, leave the iffy rep in the tank for the next set. You have tomorrows that matter.

The reason you aren’t “mobile” at a specific joint(s) is very likely a lack of STABILITY elsewhere. Your brain’s number one objective is to stay alive and safe. You won’t get ROM where your brain feels threatened. Provide proximal STABILITY, you’ll get distal MOBILITY.
