@TomBilyeu This is great. I had a similar big realization when I realized that a lot of marketing is just matching. Does your buyer match your message match your channel match your product. It's simple, but most of us discover it as a sort of epiphany. Thanks for sharing!

@googlewaqas @SaidAitmbarek Really? I had a rough go with founders on LinkedIn ... super low response rates and very few closed deals. I had much better luck with IRL and online startup communities and even reddit. But just checked your AdLIbrary on LinkedIn, so maybe I need to give it another go!

@uscfan981 Best recreation of any city in America. Better than Denver, Seattle, Portland, and other outdoorsy hotspots. Can't beat a huge public park, 30 mi of bike trails, swimming, sailing, rowing, running, volleyball, all within 8 blocks of your office.

@thesamparr One of my greatest eras was when I lived in a fully-furnished rented apartment in Chicago. It was weird to tell people I was 35 and didn't own a bed, couch, or TV. But now I've got a house, many beds, many couches, and two TVs, and the upside is small or non-existent.

@farhip "Owner hired the wrong leaders" is oldest, most tired trope in news. There are no right leaders for newspapers. Why? 1) Few people want/like traditional news 2) Everything online is a) very niche (i.e. Substack, YouTube) or b) winner take all and NYT takes all for trad news.

@thesamparr I've heard some companies do an "easy out" ... basically resign and we'll give you a generous severance. It's brilliant because it helps managers/founders act quickly rather than keep someone around for a long time avoiding the hard conversation. Make it easy on both sides!
