@mightbeanybody @Alan_Couzens David bishop (author of study) commented on inside exercise podcast that all the participants were miserable and hated doing that study. Absolutely lethargic and spending all day napping and eating in the lab between sessions.

@Alan_Couzens What are you basing walking improving cardiac expansion and improving cardiovascular fitness on in people under 50ml/kg/min? I can't see that happening in anyone beyond those coming off bedrest.

@andrew_flatt He doesn't seem particularly interested in cardiovascular health as I am young. But I'm interested if based on your research and knowledge would it possibly have negative consequences, or even if it is reducing recovery and adaptation from training.
