@ArmelTango3 @MastersMagnolia @feelthebyrn1 Yes. I learned bad sleep habits when I was young, from my parents who would always stay up late. But I would be happy to wake every day at 5-7 after 8/8.5 hrs sleep. Life doe not typically allow for this. (the early to bed part)

I used caffeine to get me through training in my pg year when I was also teacher training. Once even after my "endurance specific" pre I couldn't train. I lay in the room with a pounding heart, spinning head and thunderous headache. Stopped using caff for performance then.

Finally got the new Form2 googles with HR. Really digging these. I wasn’t sure I was going to like the data field always present but I found it very useful, particularly on an aerobic day. Now I can take my watch off and look like a real swimmer.

@feelthebyrn1 Interesting. I've been off for workouts this year for first time since high school. (Still NEED it to write.) Find that it especially helps the afternoon session be in line with what my body needs. Feeling that fatigue is important. Used to do every thing possible to avoid it.

@lebosquet @feelthebyrn1 I ramped after school and into my career. If one is good and two is great, then 10 is awesome, right?! Then went 2yrs w/o any caffeine. I added it back - it turns out, I'm a much better human with it! - but apply many of the same rules... 1‐2 cups, all in before noon 😎
