I’ve been able to stay highly productive over the last 5 years. My strategy is simple: 1 Brain dump 2 Rate every task by importance + difficulty 3 Filter by high important & low difficulty 4 Break my day into 90 min blocks 5 Execute 6 Review & repeat Not perfect but it works!
Your 9-5 doesn’t need to be a waste of time. Use it to learn the skills you want to build your business with. If your 9-5 doesn’t teach you those things, it might be time to get a new job that will.

This might just be me but… I feel way more burnout trying to build my own products than at my 9-5. It’s fun but exhausting and mentally taxing.

I just created a bunch of notion databases for my vending business. Every time I start putting stuff in a spreadsheet I immediately want to build a new app 😅
This 👇 Feeling the struggle.
We bought 3 more vending machines at 2 locations this week 2 of the machines are at a laundromat the other in an auto body shop (a little janky but does well) They’ve been making between $500-800 per month We’re at 5 machines now at around $1k per month We’ll see how it goes!

This is what I did as a full-time developer. Hours of commute = hours of podcasts, audiobooks, and YouTube lectures. Worked out pretty well. Learning intentionally turns a commute from wasted time into the most valuable part of your day.
