I am so in awe of people who embrace public speaking. It’s completely unnatural for humans to stand in front of a crowd the size of a small village and be observed by every single one of them. Kudos to everyone who can suppress their fear response and deliver a talk. 🥰

Here's my current "value nurturing" strategy for Podscan.fm when a customer's trial is over and they have yet to convert. I show them what they already have and what they will keep getting when they upgrade.
I think more people would take up entrepreneurship if they understood that making money is a direct consequence of helping people.

@arvidkahl If the point is "we looked at BIGNUMBER podcasts" then 1.6M looks smaller than 1,639,292 podcasts, in my opinion. The number isn't actually important here; the fact that it's an IMPOSSIBLY BIG number is the point, you'd think.

@arvidkahl I do some standup. When it goes poorly I always “quit” and take a couple months off. Other comedians I know just get back up the next night. It’s crazy how they can overpower that fear.

I am so in awe of people who embrace public speaking. It’s completely unnatural for humans to stand in front of a crowd the size of a small village and be observed by every single one of them. Kudos to everyone who can suppress their fear response and deliver a talk. 🥰

@arvidkahl Yeah it’s a superpower! Surprisingly I was in a public speaking class last two weeks and realized it’s actually not so different from writing tweets - try to speak from the heart and focus on one person!
I was at a public speaking class with @Ultraspeaking yesterday & I'm so blown away! It has 0 lectures 0 slides. Just fun exercises → took turns to practice → reflect All of us left saying this was SO GOOD! P.S. I'm taking notes of this experience and hope to share with you!

@arvidkahl I'm an introvert. Unless presenting something. Then I feel out of my body and love to speak in public.
