Stop swinging without a plan. Pick a target and a location. Right center, middle away, middle-middle, whatever fits. In game, avoid mechanical thoughts. Match the pitch to your approach, adjust your eyes and timing, then compete.

When contact gets too far away from your body, you get weaker and harder to adjust. Same as catching a football or receiving behind the plate. Stay behind it, keep your eyes in a better spot, and let the swing work from there.
