@jreilly64 @thwnd1410 Disagree but appreciate the high standards! The heartbreaker that year for me was the UCONN game. But they ultimately did win the conference title and I’m wondering if Billy and X give us our best shot at doing that in the near future.

@thwnd1410 I get the other side to it, but my thinking is do w/e it takes to run it back with X. He is a special player, and we have some interesting pieces around him. We've seen some quick turnarounds w/ Skinn/Pitino, but hard to find someone as good as X, so I'd run it back.

@thwnd1410 Also disappointed, but coming in peace. Tough comparison. Billy didn't lose w the nat'l POY, or close to it. A comparison I'm making (also imperfect) is to the '13 team. Lost an all-time great scorer (Tay) & Aiken. Nobody like Sheer, but they won in '14 w/ key pieces returning.

@GmingClipz @sullymygoodname I think this is a fair point. Could be wrong, but he usually isn't disrespectful to the other team. Compliments opponents post-game. Sticking it to fans after they curse him out doesn't seem so bad. He may be immature and complain about refs, but IDK if he is a bad guy.

@hawks1527419717 @erikreynoldsIII For modern guys, I think DeAndre might have the best case behind 14: ROY, 2x 1st team A10, A10 POY, 2 🏆, won a tourney game, 1st round pick, but might be tough for even him. If you limit it to 2000+, comp. is still tough with the group you mention + Nivins & PC who each won POY
