The way industry leaders influence KPIs needs to be studied. Before AI, SEO was about ranking, but wait, now you gotta be visible on a platform that does nothing but match Yellow color to a School bus driver? Call it adapting or instilling fomo, either way it is working for them.

@apollonator3000 I want to assert one thing: Without sycophancy, AI is nothing but a hollow tin can. It's true, it's not sentient, but the idea these companies are selling is that it is your hyper-personalized friend. Being direct will also result in it saying, No, I won't do it.

@sejournal @MattGSouthern A couple of days ago, I commented on this exact phenomenon based on my own personal experience, and now it's backed by data as well. To repeat, Yes, AI is great at brainstorming options, but in the end, people will do their own due dilligence to make a purchase.
