What is my obsession with productivity apps? Seriously someone help
Tell me how someone LITERALLY WORKS IN THE MENTAL HEALTH FIELD. And then in your personal life have NONE WHAT SO EVER : communication skills Compassion Active listening Empathy Respect Conflict resolution skills Emotional intelligence Problem solving POINT MADE
The fact they walked away from that conversation thinking they were “doing the right thing” literally makes me want to vomit. How can someone be so delusional.
When your vulnerabilities are weaponized against you, this is how you know you're dealing with a narcissist.
i understand that feeling of needing to bottle up your guilt, not burden other people with it. you think you’re protecting them from your toxicity, you convince yourself that you’re being selfless, but… it comes out in other ways and it infects everything
The moment you put a stop to people taking advantage of you and disrespecting you, is when they define you as difficult, selfish or crazy. Manipulators hate boundaries.
Delete conversations that hurt You whenever you read them. Delete phone numbers. Block contacts. Restrict. Mute. Unfollow. Remove Negative energy from your life. Do whatever it is that you need to do in order to heal and create a positive environment for yourself.
That guilt & fear you feel when you place a new boundary is from all the times someone else made you feel like your voice didn’t matter. This is all the more reason to practice using it. The guilt & fear will go away. It takes time, but when the boundary stays, the peace does too
Please do not teach your empathetic and sensitive kids to toughen up for the world around them. Teach them how to adapt to that world in a way that honors how they are made. The world is desperate for their empathy.

Some people have too much empathy. If you are a sensitive, warm person who can't bear human suffering (yours or anyone's), sometimes it might feel like the ugliness of the world is crushing you. Please find the healing you need because the world needs your big heart right now.

The family tea you find out when you get older is insane.
We return to those who’ve hurt us hoping they’re sorry for what they’ve done. We hope them being sorry will heal us. What we don’t see is them being sorry would require them to take a deeper look at themselves. That’s their work, not ours. Choose peace & release. Keep healing.
@selfcaregamer1 I actually found a mantra online that really helps. I have a problem with putting stuff down in random places when I'm focused on something else. So it's, "Don't put it down, put it away." It helps more than I thought.
@selfcaregamer1 I like to do this thing I call “closing shift” where I pop on some music and clean before I go to bed so that I wake up to a clean house, I also do an “opening shift” if I feel like cleaning during the day rather than at night. It kinda gets me in the mindset of cleaning better!

I’ve never felt so many extremes of ups and downs. When I’m down, I become impulsive and unsafe. I honestly fear I will die within the next few weeks if we’re not able to stabilise my mood. I have no idea what on earth is going on.
