Depression is,nt just sadness. It’s hating yourself. Having no motivation to do ANYTHING . Never being able to sleep. Struggling to get out of bed. Knowing you have stuff to do, But can’t do it. Ignoring hunger. Forgetting about self care. Depression isn’t always sadness.

When my mental health declines. I either sleep to much, or not at all. I will cancel plans. Stop talking to friends. Push everyone away. Stop eating, or binging. Stop taking care of myself. Have no motivation or energy. And think about suicide way to much. #MentalHealthAwareness

Can we please stop saying kids are resilient. They are NOT By the number of adults with addiction problems or on antidepressants due to child abuse or trauma. Traumatic childhood experiences DON,T go away. There’s a reason there’s so much mental illness, addiction & suicide.
