@travelingheidi @lexlanham @uspto My research indicates that the number of USPTO staff working on cannabis trademark applications is pretty low overall. That's particularly true now, as cannabis TM app numbers have been decreasing for several years. So I'm not sure it would really have that much of an impact.

@LizCGil It's designed to get people in and to decide they love it and start a bidding war that is driven by emotion rather than logic.
@LizCGil I think, in addition to padding realtors’ stats, it’s also a way to get people to come see it who’d otherwise filter out places at that price point, decide it’s the place they want, and bid above their planned budget.
