Aunt has severe learning disabilities. Can’t read or write. Can’t live independently. Can’t speak properly. Is in her 60’s with the understanding of a young child. When swapped over from DLA to PIP, she was refused it and left with nothing. Had to wait a year for a tribunal.

I have never been so radically pro-body autonomy than lying here, 40 weeks pregnant, feeling like I'm going to actually die any minute. No one should be forced to be pregnant. It should always be a choice. Adoption is not an alternative to experiencing pregnancy.

There’s a secondary school in my town that has posters on the gates that say things like “mediocrity will not be tolerated” and “your best can always be better”. I think they’re meant to be motivating but all they motivated me to do was make sure my kid never attends that school.

I know someone that had a psychotic episode triggered by excessive cannabis consumption. During the psych episode they climbed out of an attic window and were left with lifelong injuries. I’ve never looked at weed as harmless since.
