Fun fact: one time I had a client who kept getting these blisters on her lips, she mentioned in her consult when I asked about sun exposure that she spends her mornings on her porch, drinking 🍋water (without a straw daily). Anyways told her to stop that and no more blisters😀

True. Happened to my mama a few summers ago, and the doctors had her thinking she was a freak of nature. When all it was, was some limes from our lime tree (rip limey) that she'd picked. She wasn't even outside long. Same goes for topical application of citrus essential oils.

Yes!!! Drinking from a straw is really important. But liquids from straws can still get on your lips so you still want to wash them or wipe it off if you’ll be out for a while.

@caveofbeauty it’s happened to me numerous times (in Brazil we drink caipirinhas on the beach). If you spill wash it off immediatelyyyy and always drink from a straw cuz your lips can burn too!
