Trump won independents by about 10 to 12 points in the last election. Independents went for Biden in 2020.

And Microsoft already survived an anti-trust investigation but of course that wasn't about operating systems but rather web browsers. Almost like the government wanted you to think they were doing something to rein in the evil empire while not really accomplishing anything.
True but there was a one true monopoly (AT&T) and several near ones (the Standard oils) in the 1963 version. Today we just have 10 really big companies with little competition. Hmmm. Maybe it isn't that different.
