Incredible. The mayor of Denver gave these protesters 30 minutes to dismantle their tents but allow them to continue to protest so long as it's peaceful and not impeding everyone else's business. Naturally, they lost their minds.
Stop waiting until comfort turns to discomfort to finally start creating a story worth writing about. Because at that point it may be too late.
I think many assistants have forgotten that their primary role is to make the head coaches life easier! It can be a thankless job BUT that is the underlying purpose! Make their lives easier and make them look better!

The idea that playing at a JUCO will “waste a year ” is wild to me. If that year can take you to offer after offer, like only JUCO can, how is it “wasted”? Especially if you don’t have any at the moment! Some of the thought processes in recruiting are 🤯 .
I was abused as a child. I was exposed to heavy drug use. I attended 5 different high schools. I was a father at 17. And again at 19. I thought the “streets” were the way. Today, I’m opening a charter school. Don’t let your past define you! YOU write the next chapter!

You feel tired? Big deal, finish the job. It doesn’t matter how you feel, or how “unimportant” the task is - finish it. If you don’t, you break the promise you made to yourself and you’ll quit again in the future. Show yourself some respect and finish what you started.
The comfort paradox: The more you lean into comfort, the worse you feel. The more you lean into discomfort, the better you feel.
I will always stay committed to the truth, not what people want the truth to be or what’s been accepted as truth in any profession or aspect of life. Will some people get upset by that? Sure. But I don’t control that. I’m committed to truth. Whatever it is, wherever it leads.
If your life is chaotic, it’s because you don’t have order. If you want order, you need to align yourself with doing the right thing - because that’s all order is. It’s knowing the right thing to do and doing it.
