Somehow only OpenAI manages to consistently display math in a legible format. Claude and Gemini do it once in a blue moon, and it's a chore to explain to them what you want. There are many little areas of UX that make a big difference that everyone else is far behind on.
To the people who say they've switched from Google to Perplexity exclusively: I do not understand you. I use search engines 10s of times a day mainly to find pictures, videos, definitions, lyrics, products, course information, locations, and a slew of other things.

It's much harder to make LLMs sound robotic than it is to do the opposite. LLMs sound conscious by default because they're trained on human data, and humans (and I hate to break the news) are allegedly conscious.

This is really starting to get annoying. The "human-feeling" stuff. It's not a marvel, and if anything, it's easier to accomplish. Is it refreshing? Yes, and I prefer that type of output, but Claude 2.1 already had an almost identical tone but people never cared.

It's not cool to compete on general intelligence level. Price, sure, or nonwokeness; but if you have something that beats GPT-4 for GI, don't show it until some other fool makes the first move. Beating GPT-4 on GI just forces OpenAI to release 4.5.

i observe some normies questioning if claude 3 is conscious, they are confused, the gpus running claude 3 do not produce EM field (electro magnetic field), so it cannot be conscious in principle, otoh (on the other hand), the brain does produce EM field, so it is conscious..
