Stagger Clear Rip- Jazz Nice lob set here: -clear out the weakside w/ curl or backcut -occupy X5 & rip screeners man w/ stagger
Nash Assists- TJ McConnell -more time in paint = better decisions & more options -ball changes sides = new angles for cutters & shooters
Ghost Flare Stagger- Wizards Really like the linking of actions here... Ghost Flare flows immediately into a stagger w/ multiple options
Flare Slips- Celtics Two main ways these work: 1) Angle- screen below the D & stay below... doesn't matter if they execute the switch or not... O has inside leverage (clips 1-3 & 7-9) 2) Confusion- D doesn't know who to go with & O slips to the rim (clips 4-6 & 10-12)
Post Entry... Cross (Jazz) Nice action out of post entry to create an advantage at the rim... love the rip screen in the last clip
Rub Short vs Denial- Celtics The defense is always wrong... deny the rub entry... counter with short action for the backcut
Cutting vs Loaded D- Magic Good counter when defenses load up/shrink the floor around a big time scorer like Banchero
Cam Spencer- Shot Fakes & Pivots Slowing the game down & keeping it simple... thought @JoeyBurton would appreciate these
Flare Attacks- Jazz Flares can be good for creating closeouts and putting attackers in space

Tough for off ball defenders to keep both vision of ball and their man. Sometimes enough for offensive players to find a small window for a pass or cut.

Borrego is really good at these sorts of concepts. Creating multiple points of confusion for defenses, often giving them contradictory signals.
Weakside Curl to Stagger- Pelicans Weakside pin & curl turns into almost a stagger... creates a lot of bodies to navigate when chasing the shooter Tough to switch & talk out... multiple defenders occupied
But the NBA is all 1 on 1 🙄
Rub Flip- Knicks Quick hitting action that creates confusion... love the pace Handoff guy is in action before (rub) & after (flare) the handoff... puts a lot of stress on D

The glory of transition O: There are no scouting reports in transition. Defense is so worried about getting back and set, that tendency knowledge often goes out the window
@tucker_thorson I remember Max Strus got a couple of threes early in game 2 of the finals by ghosting screens. Just love watching intelligent basketball. Also Jeff Van Gundy still stuck over the pronounciation of Braun's name lol
I would love to build an offense around this the opportunities are there and you can tweak it no matter the age group
