Lovely to be virtual with some NHS teams focusing on a 3 day intro to relational and developmental trauma. We will also as part of the series be spending a day thinking about health and medical trauma. And 2 days on grief and loss next month.

At 18, my academic advisor told me that “higher education might not be for you” as I struggled my 1st year at Uni. I was determined to prove him wrong. Yesterday, this first-generation, state-schooled student graduated from Cambridge with a PhD. State school kids, you can do it!

A year ago today I walked through the doors of thr RCM HQ to tell my story to a panel of incredible inspiring Midwives. This nomination and opportunity changed me. Spent so many years lonely and lost until I found Midwifery. Cheers to me a Midwife of only 7 months and I ❤️ it.
Way too weak Prime Minister, you need to be on top of this. Maternity care needs to be examined thoroughly. Why have we not learnt prom previous inquiries? Why haven’t all agreed recommendations from previous inquiries been enacted? This is YOUR job to deal with, not ours!
