Cody Gakpo spent the last 10 minutes of the Forest game on his feet in the dugout as #LFC tried to find a winner. He was the first one over to the 4th official at FT. He’s not tried to agitate for a move, despite all the noise. I really do hope people get behind him this season.

What on earth are we doing wasting time even considering this? Just keep Gakpo and move on to all the other problems! 🤦‍♂️

🚨❗️ Liverpool informed Cody Gakpo’s camp they would be ready to keep him at the club if there’s no replacement. All depends on Ismaila Sarr situation. Gakpo had agreed terms with City on Saturday but would also be happy to stay at Liverpool if club decide to close doors.

@mental_floss Thanks for this, once I’d navigated through the gaming trailers, repeated adverts for sciatica pain relief throughout and a random redirect to the Argos website, I managed to get through the first bit fine 👌🏻

One of the biggest differences between #LIV and #NFO is that Forest have players who are willing to tackle. No idea why our players just won’t put in a challenge 🤷‍♂️ #LIVNFO

Also, zero attempt to build any momentum there. Score and IMMEDIATELY defend for the rest of the game. And we’re talking a back 5 in our own box and 5 just outside the box. No outlet whatsoever. Same old #england

Yet again England fans have to watch the team go ahead and then completely collapse into a terrified, defensive mess. What a pathetic performance.

Chaotic defending, pointless possession, zero threat. Nice of England to play exactly like LFC, just what I wanted to watch more of this summer 👌🏻 #ENGDRC

This is even more concerning. It took Chelsea just passing the ball around a bit more for us to completely flake out and give up to the point where we just invited them to equalise.

🎥 Arne Slot strongly rejects telling Liverpool to play negatively 🗣️ "It's not fair to me that anyone could ever think that I tell my players to back off."

@JamesPearceLFC I wouldn’t quite say “lost our way”…we just outright stopped playing and decided to sit back on a 1-0 lead after just 20 minutes. Horrendous decision. Did Slot just never catch a single LFC game in the last 8 years?

I think this one image sums up the disconnect between the fans and the players at the moment. What a difference a year makes in that regard. They’re all millionaires and just seem totally disconnected from reality these days. The away fans especially, invest so much time and money into following the club. They’ll stay until the end and give as much support as they can - but if they see a manager and team who look like they can’t be arsed then you’ll lose their support. Liverpool fans don’t typically make banners and chant for their own manager being sacked, but leaving early and chanting for another manager is as close as you’re going to get. The tongue in cheek “Hodgson for England” chant was similar to what happened at the Etihad with the Alonso chant. The manager has slowly lost the fans, we all hoped he would turn it around but there is just no sign of it happening, surely the owners see that? I just don’t understand what Szoboszlai was trying to achieve too. He could see there was hardly any left, the ones that are left, are simply not going to applaud that capitulation. Time for change, before the rot truly sets in and we go back to winning the odd cup.

@TheRedmenTV Haven’t done anything anywhere near building from the Galatasaray game. Zero threat in attack - our most dangerous player in their half is Dunk. We have no clue what to do with the ball when we’ve got it.

@TheRedmenTV Complete garbage. Can’t pass. No team work, they’re all just watching each other struggle. No energy. No threat in attack.

Igor Jesus' goal was disallowed for handball... but was it the correct decision? 🤔 That goal could've put Nottingham Forest 2-0 up against Liverpool 😳
