I used to believe that I needed to make money faster than others to be successful in business. Then, I asked myself what I really wanted.
When I was younger I was told wearing to different socks brings luck.
The life of a hybrid entrepreneur: • Build in the morning, evenings and weekends • Work 35 - 50 hours a week • Repeat This is great but don't forget to: • Rest • Reflect • Spend time with loved ones Never sacrifice your well-being for wealth.
Yes, it can be scary broadcasting your ideas to the world. But what's scarier is waking up ten years from now in the same place, thinking about what life could've been if you simply committed.
If you want to be a writer, You also have to be a creator, marketer, entrepreneur. If you want to be a writer, You can’t just write and be done with it. The need for wearing several hats grows every day.
I think there's something so beautiful about the thought that to grow up is to be young again. To enjoy the things we weren't able to in our youth. To express the love we couldn't as children. To live the life we only aspired to have. Life comes with its delicate intricacies.
Next time you have a difficult moment, ask yourself this... Have you ever been faced with an extreme or difficult situation? Or maybe you’re struggling to decide between two equally bad (or good) options? One question I’ve found that helps me in these situations is always……
"Never quit" is terrible advice. If your business is a sinking ship, don't go down with it. Start another one, try different things. Remember - Never quit on YOURSELF. You can "eject" on anything else.
Many want freedom. But, most are unwilling to relinquish that which is keeping them enslaved.
13 years ago, I started journalling. My girlfriend told me she was pregnant. Words I struggled to speak fell onto the page. Now, I journal for mental clarity and reflection. Journaling isn't your safety parachute when life gets tough. It's an anchor for your daily life.
