When I am jumping, sometimes I jump on the spot and sometimes I jump forward. When I am jumping forward, I am usually in a good mood. I think this is similar to how I feel when I am skipping. I am in a "wow" mood.

As an autistic person, when something unexpected happens to me, I suffer so much that I can't be myself. I can't tell a clear difference in my feelings between when I can get back on my feet and when I can't. When I panic, it is like being swallowed by a big wave.

Sometimes, just having someone laugh at you makes you feel that it is okay to be here. To feel that way is what makes a person feel comfortable and at ease. I think everyone has at one time or another struggled with their place in the world.

I take boxed tissues one after the other; I take one out and immediately the next one comes out in a similar fashion, so I guess I want to take it out again. Even if I decide on the number of tissues, the number is invisible. My hand goes out before I can count.

When I want to calm down, autistic me tries to get less information from my eyes and ears. I cover my ears with my fingers, look at the wall, or just put my head in a small space to loosen my brain, which has become compressed. This is my relaxation method.

When I stay still, I am sometimes told that I am calm. But I think that is a little different from the state of feeling stable, just because you have stopped moving. Sometimes I feel stable even when I am moving around. The state of mind is not easy to tell.
