@ScarredForLife2 The War Of The Worlds Immersive Experience in London is superb and well worth a visit for any fans of the album. A mix of live actors, VR and special effects plus the cracking tunes. Not cheap but so good we've been back for a second time.

@daph2theb Got mine down from my dad's loft last week but not had a chance to play it. It was always infinitely better than Subbuteo Cricket, that one went straight on ebay. Surprised to see you can still buy a new, slightly updated, version on Amazon etc.
@russty_russ I met him at a trade show in the mid 90s and can report that he was every bit as lovely as you would expect. It was the end of the day and he was heading home but was happy to chat for ages and have a photo and just generally be delightful. Top man.
