so u had situations where a 12" would sell INSANE amounts - eg Shy FX's remix of Chopper, or DJ Zinc - Super Sharp Shooter or Masterstepz - Melody, but not leave any 'official' cultural trace, they wouldnt chart & basically don't exist in an accepted, historically legible format
