@hannahmillana You are a lovely person. I remember similar happening when I needed blood gases and the only machine in hosp was on ITU. Staff there were really mean to me about using it. Sat on fire escape stairs weeping in secret That was over 20yrs ago!! Stay true to yourself x

@DrSdeG I’ve been donating my old school (@DGGS_Info) 3 science prizes ever since Pfizer pulled out when they left the area (although they are still in Sandwich 🤔). Not wanky at all-I was chuffed at that age to get a prize.

Many people have telephone hospital appointments for months in advance. And yet GPs are told, from Monday see anyone who wants a face to face (even though many have small waiting rooms where social distancing will be impossible). It does feel like they’re trying to break us.

NEW: we’ve all seen the pandemic’s impact on death rates, but what of the other end of the spectrum: birth rates? It takes longer for births to show up in the data (duh), but 9 months on from last March, the results are in, and they’re quite something... ft.com/content/bc8253…
