The National Living Wage is set to rise on 1 April 2022 and applies to all employees aged 16 or over. For those aged 23 or over, the new NLW will be £9.50 per hour, an increase of 6.6%. Please remember to check that you are paying all your employees the correct minimum wage.

An Employment Tribunal has awarded £185,000 to a female employee whose flexible working request to reduce her hours after returning from maternity leave was rejected. The ET upheld her complaint of indirect sex discrimination. Don't get caught out, call us for advice.
