Question. If you’re a distance runner/triathlete what is the lowest price point for a pair of run shoes without losing a significant competitive edge?
@Timheming Umm does this apply to a parent of triathlete - tbh I usually don’t get much change out of £140.
@Timheming Define ‘competitive edge.’ Define ‘significant.”
@Timheming Depends on how you define competitive edge. If you are trying to win you need supershoes- no way around it. If you are trying to finish top 10%, it doesn’t matter. Any shoe.
@Timheming Go to ebay. You can always find great deals on almost any shoe
@Timheming If you know what super shoe works for you, the trick is not to wait until you need a new pair before buying the replacement. This way you can buy when they have good offers and you aren’t forced to pay full price. I have an unworn pair of Vaporfly 2s that were £100 in November.
