Honored to meet with advocates from @afspnational during their advocacy day in Annapolis this week. I’m grateful for their partnership and for the courage they bring to this work—many sharing their own stories to push for change. We need changemakers like these as federal protections face uncertainty and Maryland works to strengthen mental health parity and protect access to care. Together, we can do more to prevent suicide and support every Marylander.
