I’m in the hospital again, been here since Thursday. Severe constipation (I’d only gone 5 times since my surgery April 4th) and vomiting all I eat.
Pathology report came back on my removed stomach… low and high grade dysplasia. Got it out just in time. Feeling blessed! @NoStomach4Cancr

Anyone have a J-tube for feeding? I’m hoping to talk to someone about it before my surgery, during which the feeding tube will be placed for medicine and formula when I’m unable to swallow and after, to keep up on nutrition and body weight.
My surgery to remove my stomach will likely be in March. I had to quit smoking, and it’s been over 6 days since I smoked. Will have an IVC filter placed before surgery, to prevent blood clots traveling out of my legs.
Lots of testing to do to figure out if surgery would be best option. Likely it will but testing first. Surgery a bigger deal than I thought. More later.
Today is the day that I find out if the surgical oncologist will be recommending a total stomach removal. I'll post after the appointment what he says.
Living with chronic illness is exhausting enough; having to explain everything over & over to people just takes the life out of me.
