Great research on open-source by @Harvard: - $4.15B invested in open-source generates $8.8T of value for companies (aka $1 invested in open-source = $2,000 of value created) - Companies would need to spend 3.5 times more on software than they currently do if OSS did not exist I suspect that these numbers and impact are even greater for AI than for software (would be great to study!)

White ethnostate and extreme woke state are equally bad for America. Balance and techno optimism about what we build with caring, care and empathy is what I want to strive for. We need economic growth policies before we can care for all in need. But climate takes precedence over optimal economics since we can’t go back on climate damage.

Yes. This is a good summary. And they can’t claim it’s an unknowable mistake because the estimate of 100 (or 93 which they later gave to make it seem more precise) came from the same Gaza civil defense group that claimed 300 and 500 casualties at Al Ahli hospital last October in what ended up as dozens killed in the parking lot by a misfired rocket. The fact that the press never adjusted their behavior after that incident speaks volumes. It’s the same playbook every time. At this point the press is complicit and thus incentivizing both the lies and the behavior of hiding terrorists among civilians. For those interested in the truth: The actual final count for this strike based on social media posts of victims looks to be 48. 39 are adult males. 8/9 of the other victims have been clearly listed as family members of 2 of the identified 16 militants (I say 16 because 3/19 names that Israel released are under dispute).
