I get that. The contract was earned, he has every right to demand a pay for his play. I just can’t get on board with the position he plays and think the Giants benefited from this long term.

He was on the 5th year option looking for a payday. This isn’t directed towards a narrative that Saquon is selfish or anything. The term “contract year” is there for a reason. Jones had the same thing and we don’t know if he’s gonna play through injury (i.e. GB game) now
