A patient being upset that they are in the psychiatric ward is not the same as agitation from psychosis. Them adamantly not wanting to be there is a reasonable response to treatment that is sometimes forced with conditions that may be less than ideal. Use some discernment.

It does… It absolutely does make them those things Because viewing it from the other side - If the most evil thinking person in the world spent their entire life acting good, they’d qualify as a good person. Because actions are what makes a person good or bad
For example, people can behave in racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist ways. That doesn’t make them a racist, sexist, homophobe, transphobe, ableist. A person does not equal their behavior. You don’t know why they’re behaving that way unless you ask.

Cervantes’ will no longer be taking a venue merch percentage of artist merchandise. The standard rate for promoters is 20% of artist sales which we are abolishing. making it more sustainable for artists to tour. They deserve this money & are proud to be a part of this movement.

Medical science simply doesn't have the answer for everyone at the moment. There are many conditions and illnesses where symptom management is the best you can do.
When my daughter got her autism diagnosis almost three years ago, they told me that she had high support needs and that she may never speak. And when I told people that, they automatically redirected me to “success stories.” /1
