I can’t bring myself to say “finished” or even “the end” with this book, because I know I could keep dissecting the words endlessly.
Reached the last page of Pale Fire and felt that there was no point in writing because I would never reach Nabokov’s level of perfection. It is entirely flawless.
@jon_cronshaw I read the classics as a kid (Tolkien & Lewis), but @matthaig1 really got me back into searching for something magical and fantastical in literature again as an adult.

Something I feel might be a relatable experience for a lot of people with ADHD is the constant feeling like we're about to get our lives together... and then we just can't. We have a few good days. Everything is going well and, as quickly as it came, it falls apart again (1/6)

@kat_tastic I’ve done this for books that have super long chapters. I have a system with my bookmark to remember where I am, but it’s always at the start of a new paragraph
