@paulg It would appear Paul, that you have a fixation with Tim Cook and are seeing him all around you, and the Alps is just a convenient setting that makes the illusion easier to manifest.
I feel like I know a secret that the narrative about space is that it’s getting easier and easier to reach and operative a business in; but the gap between the best and the rest is still just as massive as ever. Meaning: participation has gotten easier, but success hasn’t.

On the 60th anniversary of his assassination, we pause to remember President John F. Kennedy, whose challenge to land astronauts on the Moon by the end of the decade gave NASA its early focus. On the evening of July 20, 1969, an anonymous citizen placed a small bouquet of…

There are 3 new unconfirmed reports of floating LK-99 samples going around on twitter. It's very interesting that researchers & hobbyists alike are finding such strong signals of diamagnetism. It's possible we see experimental replication sooner rather than later!

54 years ago today, #Apollo11 launched…Eagle soaring from Earth atop the Saturn V, bound for the Moon. It seems like only yesterday that we embarked on the mission of a lifetime – a mission for all mankind, a mission I hope will continue to inspire well into our future.

☄️It’s true! NASA’s OSIRIS-REx mission has brought back 121 grams of ancient matter from an asteroid named Bennu. It cost of $1.2 billion. But what it can tell us about the dawn of the solar system, and the creation of life itself, is priceless. A 🧵on the key findings so far:
First OSIRIS-REx data suggest asteroid Bennu might be piece of a planet that was wet, maybe tectonically active, full of organics, and bathed in light from a star or stars that were destroyed before our solar system existed and may have seeded us scientificamerican.com/article/nasas-… @sciam

I’m in favor of going fast to beat China (back) to the Moon, but there should be at least 2 uncrewed lunar Starship missions, both including lunar ascent, not just 1 as per the current plan. If we lose a crew everybody will know in retrospect this was true.
