@Austin__Berg @uscensusbureau Not all areas of the state are losing people. Places with good schools & safe communities are & good jobs are growing - suburbs & some city areas. Downstate is bleeding people. So is south side of city. Fix city pensions & support public education across state.

@Quietmum If you are a solid D voter, this is them trying to muddy Dem primaries. If you are a sometimes D sometimes R primary voter, it may be a legit attempt to dram more moderate Rs into running in their primary.

You’re a woman. You know women who’ve had abortions. We all do. Does make that sense to you? Most don’t know they’re pregnant.

@BurnFBDown @WillClownCar @SafeSuburbsUSA “Out on bond” means he PAID BAIL. Pre SAFE-T Act. Great example of how cash bail doesn’t keep criminals off the streets. Now under Safe-T Act judges can keep dangerous criminals in jail - they CANT pay their way out.

@SafeSuburbsUSA Referendum should be used in only incredibly rare situations, as dictated by law. We elect people to make decisions. If you start the “referendum for everything” BS it’s a different - & chaotic - form of government. Don’t like the decisions electeds make? Vote differently.

Oof Chicago city council out here looking like will county board. Calling special meetings, not being able to count, voting on things that don’t change what they want to change. What’s wrong with elected officials these days? Do the work, not the show.

@BravoTitan9 @GiwedinAnangKwe I was raised by my dad. He loved women. Dated them. Talked about them. Had them on TV constantly. Had pictures of them. Took me to meet them. I still ended up liking boys. Go figure. It’s almost like my main parent demonstrating their sexual preference didn’t change mine.

@Lanceholt9137 @JaymalGreen First: most people do not work 11 hours day so you’d have to adjust your annual salary calculation for that. But, it’s prolly not 1 staff per child so your math is off anyway. I think cost is high but you’ve helped underscore my point: the original post is not a good analysis.
