Thank you for providing us with the additional info and also notifying on board crew members. We will forward this to our mechanical team as well to make sure this is remedied. If possible in the future please take note of the coach number, which is located in the vestibule and also at the ends of the coach, that way we can notify our mechanical team exactly which coach this was on.

Metra will operate a Sunday/Holiday Schedule for Memorial Day on Monday, May 25, 2026. No alcohol will be allowed on any Metra train. As a reminder, the elevator that provides access to Millennium Station and South Water Street for persons with disabilities will be out of service while it is being replaced. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, please be advised that this may be due to various reasons, such as; the platform length is shorter than train coaches, therefore we do not open certain coaches allowing passenger to board and deboard where the open coaches are located, or times where there is low ridership and for the safety of passengers certain coaches may be closed of, or there may be times that particular coaches are closed off due to cleanliness and/or other mechanical concerns.
