The highly competitive face-paced constant judging of youth players in the travel sports environment robs these kids of proper learning of skills. Learning is messy and requires patience- we are not being patient in today's youth model and kids are paying the price because of it.

Travel baseball guys figure it out and develop leagues for kids to play in again. Local & region play. Ask a majority of kids now and that’s what they truly want to do. Not many kids want to live in a hotel every weekend of the fall/summer. Just a thought.
The original AAA hockey model gave kids the opportunity to play with and against other top players. And that's ok. I don’t think anybody would deny it makes kids better. The model has shifted from a “developmental model” to a “business model” though. And that's NOT ok.
My opinion on the tees you should play: If you are not shooting 80 or better at least 20% of the time, move up a set of tees. Rinse & repeat. Tee selection should NOT be based on gender/age. There is no such thing as "ladies" or "senior" tees. Stop calling them that.
@GiftedTawk I just wear Adidas Ultraboost sneakers every day since COVID. After teaching in-person and virtually simultaneously during a pandemic, I no longer care what the dress code is. I wear jeans and sneakers every day and dare my admin to say something.
@GiftedTawk HOT TIP: Have multiple pair of comfortable shoes designated for work only. Then alternate on a daily basis which ones you wear. You will find that some shoes work better for you than others. Try new kinds, but always alternate daily.

Back when I was a baby CPS worker, 23 years old, I had two teenage “delinquent” girls on my caseload. Those girls were bad as hell, lol. They used to steal car radios, they cussed like sailors, and they were such smartasses. I LOVED them.
