In her @NWCNorman seminar today, @lswinneywx discussed her examination of a giant hail-producing OK supercell on 23 May 2011 using data from 4 Doppler radars. Conclusions included that hail was present for most of the supercell's life, mainly in the forward flank.
The first shift of the cloud physics group had incredible flights today and yesterday aboard the NSF-NCAR C130 aircraft at Kiruna, Sweden, for the CAESAR field campaign. Congrats, everyone, we can't wait to see the data! @saurabh_wx @namundsen11 @DrAndrewDzambo 🤩😶🌫️
Greetings from Kiruna, Sweden! @CIWRO_ Director Greg McFarquhar gave the CAESAR science team a presentation on lessons learned from his SOCRATES mission in the Southern Ocean and how this is being used to aid CAESAR flight planning and experiment design.

A few reflections on my #Eclipse2024 experience yesterday. 🧵 1. My community of friends in Norman is 💫amazing💫. They moved heaven and earth to accommodate my very tight travel schedule back to OKC from Sweden on the 7th, & taught a few things about eclipse photography.
