When you grow up in a narcissistic family, you aren't prepared for adulthood & don't leave the family in a supported, healthy way. You're lucky if escape the family & when you do you're generally lacking adult life skills that were never taught... so you have to teach yourself.

It seems as if there are people who object to nurses having filmed themselves dancing during the Pandemic. I, for one, am 100% in favour of nurses (or any other workers in high-stress jobs) taking time to exercise/dance/do yoga or pilates/stretch. 8/9/10 hours work needs breaks.

Nothing annoys me more than when someone expects you to be okay with something that they wouldn't be okay with if it was done to them.

5ys ago, two blokes laughed at my 8yo autistic son in a Little Chef for the fluffy jumper of his mum's he wore to be comfy travelling. Saw them get in a plumber's van. Left a Google review saying they came to quote, shat in my loo and didn't flush. Review still live. Not sorry.
