I notice more often recently that I end up having masking “breaks” where i physically cannot keep masking or need a little break to keep doing it (usually in work mode) i used to be able to mask for as long as i needed
as an autistic, one of the things i hate the most is when people continuously move so they are always getting eye contact in a conversation. like who tf even does that, my eyes are not locking to yours for a reason i promise haha

personally if i was concerned that “everyone was diagnosis themselves with ADHD from tiktok” i would question the effectiveness of the medical system that meant they needed to do rather than villainising social media or the person themselves. hope this helps!

I sometimes wonder if NTs ever feel that struggle to speak, like how much fatigue and stress does it take to get them to the point where word recall is hard, or just not happening. How much does it take to get them to struggle with inertia, to feel intense discomfort trying?
Children as young as 4,5 and 6 are restrained by staff in order to get them "in" to school. Surely if staff are using RPI to take an anxious, frightened child from their parents this is a sign of a serious problem? That is NOT "a last resort" Photo for attention only.
I have auditory processing issues and my roommate has a significant speech impediment, sometimes I don't understand a word he is saying and feel bad constantly asking him to repeat so I just nod and smile
