I'm honored & excited that @StoryLitMag chose my story "Wound Care" for the Story Foundation Prize, to be published in the fall! Wound Care isn't about reality TV, but it IS inspired by a scheme JT and I had to do good - and profit - from the crazy graft after the BP oil spill.

I mean imagine being gifted the most emotionally intense, euphoric, challenging, rewarding experience of your entire life and then being told - welp, you never get to do that again. I can't even eat a cookie without mourning the loss of that cookie.

Devils Plan had a fantastic final matchup and great winner. Very satisfying conclusion to a frustrating season.
Loving the prison surprise in Devils Plan. Only question I have is how it ends up being discovered literally on the very last day. Producers had to nudge [contestant] along, right? They're not letting their big reveal go to waste.

since i've gotten this question a bunch: I regret him being immune at f4 and f3 but I do think that objectively my position at f4 was perfect (given the final 2), or at least was exactly what I intended final 2 deals with everyone left + biggest threat still there as a target.

I think if Kenzie gets to the end, the Yanu story + credibility from Bhanu ('she's a mastermind') helps we're seeing that a lot of people consider her their #1 - Tiff, Ben, Hunter and ultimately the optimal game-winning #survivor strategy now is "be next to Q and Venus"

@stephenfishbach Yeah the biggest flaw was the cast imo, and part of what made the genius so great was that you were incentivized to be selfish if you lost and choose the worst player to go against, so it lead to great players going to the end. This ended up being big brothery herd mentality.
Agreed. Preserve your sanity, friends. Don’t live your life politicking like you’ll go back out there. Live your life like life is A LOT longer than 26 or 39 days on an island.
If I could give one blessing to all the #survivor players now daydreaming about season 50, it would be to forget it's even a possibility, to put it behind you. Pregaming is questionable at best. Save what's left of your sanity.
