And the new flight controller came in. Sadly no real work will happen for the next few days as I'll be working nights the next 4 nights
Floppy is getting flight hardware re-installed. New fligjt controller, one with more support, and a new transmitter in-route to support a better receiver. Lots of new toys.
Added to the starship. Now to start making barrel sections. Trying to figure out the autopilot now, which is kicking my ass.
Nose cone and fwd flaps are finished. Ready for servos to test movement.
1/50 vs 1/29.3 scale. Why 1/29.3? Somehow in my numbers and building I accidentally started to produce parts on that #. So I stick with it.

New nose cone finished. Just In at just over a lb without flaps or servos. About 24 hours of printing. Flaps are on the printer now. For being hand made, the original nose cone came out surprisingly close to the 3d printed nose cones form. Flap location is a hair off on mine.
Built our suborbital pad today. Not completely finished, but a start.
3d printed nose cone. I have to redo the very bottom as it's just a hair off in size. Current hops with hopper are on hold. I don't have the right connectors for the harness for the autopilot, so waiting for those to be delivered to make.
Launch Tower will be huge... This is only 2 segments, the finished will have 15. It won't have a chopstick, but it will have a working QD arm.

Here is an animation of all 20 support arms on the #Starship Orbital Launch Mount actuating. Before launch, these arms hold the #SuperHeavy booster and transfer the weight into the surrounding steel structure. I have removed the steel structure for a unique perspective.
