@his_eminence_j Buybacks inatead of a dividend, i dont necessarily see an issue. Apple just has so much cash that they dont have enough projects to allocate to...so the ethical thing would be to return that capital back to its shareholders.

@his_eminence_j @scottmelker You wouldnt say fiscal policies have a larger effect on inflation? I'd argue that monetary policy affects assets more while fiscal generally affects CPI more (that and the Red Sea right now...) Cheap money -> higher asset prices. Money given to consumers -> higher CPI

Incentivize production to raise supply and make housing and food cheaper (one way would be to reduce taxes for home producers, for example). Now you don't need to raise wages because cost of living is better in line with wages.

@his_eminence_j It's probably about on par, drawdowns on the 4 year cycles are around 85% (give or take). Heck, take your pick for stocks in the NASDAQ and they dont look much better in 2022. Right, not a currency but a reserve asset over long timeframes. Similar monetary properties to gold

@his_eminence_j BTC is fundamentaly different from other cryptos...but liquidity in BTC drives crypto prices. With that said, there's quite a few factors driving it: -4 year halving cycle -Adoption of BTC as a reserve asset (not currency) to hedge against USD -Vol will dampen as adoption inc
