All those in the media who boosted #Lehrmann's account -- and they know who they are -- must be dying of shame. Justice Lee has absolutely shredded his character and his evidence, caling it 'risible', 'an elaborate fancy' and 'a litany of lies'.
Credit to Channel Ten for running the defence. ABC and News Corp settled, and paid $445,000 of Lehrmann's legal costs, with the ABC removing the recording of the Higgins-Tame Press Club event. Sometimes its worth the fight. theguardian.com/australia-news…

I think it's worth pointing out that Brittany Higgins NEVER had to testify at this defamation trial. She cannot be awarded any financial settlement (Bruce has already won multiple settlements). All she had to "win" was the truth, but the cost of that would be her privacy. /1
