그런 태도 또한 학습을 통해 기를 수 있다. 성찰과 배움 없이 태도는 만들어지지 않는다. 기술과 태도는 함께 성장해야 한다. 이 둘은 개발자로서 오래도록 살아남고, 함께 일하고 싶은 사람이 되기 위한 핵심이라 생각한다.

나는 개발자의 성장이 단지 새로운 기술을 배우고 익히는 데에만 국한된다고 생각하지 않는다. 진정한 성장은 말과 행동에 겸손함을 갖고, 동료들과 함께 배우며 성장할 수 있는 인성과 태도를 갖추는 데에서도 비롯된다고 믿는다.
전문가가 자신의 전문성과 죽음의 키스를 한다는 것은 이런 것입니다. 일단 자신이 전문가라고 믿게 되면 많은 가능성에 대한 마음을 닫습니다. 호기심을 가지고 행동하지 않게 되죠.
하지만 진정한 성공은 내가 아니라, 우리가 성장하는 것이다. 동료가 더 나은 방식으로 일하도록 돕고, 팀이 함께 목표를 이루는 것. 그런 변화가 쌓일 때, 팀은 더 강해진다.

정량지표를 요구할 때 그 지표를 취합하기 위한 비용을 함께 언급, 걱정하는 분은 많지 않다. 대부분 보고 받거나 의견을 ’전달‘ 입장이기 때문이다. 만약 보스가 아닌 리더가 되고자 한다면 정량지표를 얘기하려면 지표를 취합 할 수 있을 환경인지를 ‘먼저’ 공감하고 얘기하기를 바란다.
2000년대 넘어서부터 지금까지의 소프트웨어 개발은 기계보다는 사람에 더 초점이 맞춰져 왔다 사람이 더 비싸지만 결함도 더 많기 때문이다 근 20년 사이에 관련 산업과 기업이 얼만큼 성숙되었을지는 모르겠으나 AI가 본격적으로 지식산업 군으로 들어오는 요즘, 어떤 변화가 있을지 기대된다
