I've long campaigned for universal free school meals, guaranteeing every primary school pupil gets a healthy meal each day. So I'm really pleased Labour's West Midlands Mayor candidate @RichParkerLab backs the call, making it a priority for his mayoralty. Let's make it happen💪🏽
In the West Midlands, 66,000 children in poverty don’t qualify for a free school meal. As Mayor, I want to fix that. And with @zarahsultana I’ll campaign for universal free school meals for our children.

I can't wear my headphones and listen to music while I'm out walking my dog. It feels really disrespectful to her to not be fully engaged with what she's enjoying in the park, and chatting to her about what a good girl she is for finding a new tennis ball etc.

I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when I read that the NHS had announced measures to improve the working lives of doctors “including ensuring accurate and timely pay”. Ensuring workers are paid the right amount at the right time is a basic right, not an improvement.

@omniphonik There isn’t a difference, I’m just playing around lol 😂. The main difference with the tray we have is that it’s not the best for mud etc so our tuff trays are outside. More robust and flat.

I’m perfectly happy? I have zero side effects, overall very stable mental health compared to when I don’t take any medication, and a very good quality of life as a result. I am physically very healthy. Why does this still bother people so much?
Why are some people so pressed about intelligent adults with capacity making informed decisions about taking psychiatric medication. That isn’t true of everyone but for me it is, I don’t need the pity of some random stranger about the hypothetical damage I am doing to myself.

@AaronTeamEC Looks gorgeous 😍 I think you might be unfairly judging the tuff tray though. Your community playthings activity tray-table (with leaves and bags on) serves the same function here but costs £375 instead of ~£50. In an ideal world I would choose one too, but budgets are tight!
